Thymosin Beta-4 Research Peptide — 5mg Lyophilized
Thymosin Beta-4 (Tβ4) is a naturally occurring 43-amino acid actin-sequestering peptide found in virtually all mammalian cells. With a molecular weight of 4,963 Da, Tβ4 plays a fundamental role in regulating actin polymerization dynamics, cell migration, and angiogenesis. It is one of the most abundant intracellular proteins and is secreted into blood and other body fluids.
Research applications include studies on cardiac repair, corneal wound healing, angiogenesis, hair follicle activation, and anti-inflammatory signaling in various cell culture models. TB-500 (a synthetic fragment) is derived from the key actin-binding region of Thymosin Beta-4.
