Selank Research Peptide — 5mg Lyophilized
Selank is a synthetic heptapeptide (Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg-Pro-Gly-Pro) analog of the immunomodulatory peptide Tuftsin, developed at the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. With a molecular weight of 751.88 Da, Selank has been studied in numerous preclinical models for its effects on GABAergic transmission, BDNF expression, anxiety modulation, and memory function.
In cell culture and animal research models, Selank has been shown to affect the expression of serotonin transport genes and enkephalin metabolism. It has been used as a research tool in neuropharmacology and immunology studies.
